City of Edmonton Zoning Bylaw Changes and Vacant Lot Inventory for Urban Farming

Yesterday City Council approved Zoning Bylaw changes that enable and encourage more urban agriculture activities in Edmonton! The new regulations include new land uses and regulations for urban farming on vacant lots. Check out the project web page for details on what changes were proposed.

In conjunction with the new bylaw changes, the City has also launched a vacant lot inventory for urban agriculture for those interested in farming vacant land in the city.
