Little Green Thumbs – Preparations for A New Indoor Growing Season

With a heavy heart, we inform our friends and community of the departure of Carla Meyer from Sustainable Food Edmonton. 

Reclaim Urban Farm is looking for a passionate and hard working individual to join their team as a part time urban farm assistant. This position will include tasks such as harvesting (indoor and/or outdoors), prepping orders for their restaurant deliveries and farmers market, cleaning their indoor grow space and washing trays, and selling at the market.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is an alternative, locally-based economic model of agriculture and food distribution.

Sustainable Food Edmonton was a finalist for the 25th Annual Emerald Awards. 

The Grand Markets in Edmonton are open at their two locations. Starting on May 12th, on Thursday nights the 124th Street Grand Market will be open from 4-8 PM at their new location on 102nd Avenue and 124th street. The French Quarter Grand Market is also open on Sundays from 11-3PM.
